Breaking Stereotypes.
Most stereotypes about Panama are not true, sadly some are true.
S1 There are big chain stores like, Target or Walmart. A. No there is Lots of little stores, like family or town stores.
S2 Panama have a special religion. A. No there main religion is Roman Catholicism.
S3 You can tell if someone is from panama like a "Panamanian" A. No they look like average humans with now apart place of origin.
S4 Panama is like a third world country that is underdeveloped A. Actually panama closely resembles Miami.
S5 All people speak Spanish A. Quite most of people of speak English or Understand it.
S6 Panamanians eat tacos, burritos and other Mexican food. A. Actually they eat lots seafood and water cuisine.
Truth : Everything is Fried: Panamanians eat everything fried. Fried fish, fried chicken, fried platanos and patacones (a traditional Panamanian food), etc. If you look at a Panamanian menu, there will be fried rice, fried chicken, and fried fish.
